STANFORD 10 ACHIEVEMENT TEST (Spring, 2009 )
For the 2008-2009 school year, scores were as follows: Third grade, 63th percentile; 5th grade, 67th percentile; 6th grade, 63rd percentile; and 7th grade, 59nd percentile. These scores are based on a 99-point scale and represent student performance in comparison to a national average of 50 percent. A score of 50 percent would be exactly average when compared to other students from throughout the nation taking the same test at the same time. In addition to percentile scores, the Stanford Achievement Test also measures student achievement by grade equivalency scores. The mean grade equivalency scores for Oak Forest’s 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade were 5.1, 6.7, 8.3, and 8.7 respectively. The average grade equivalency would be the same as the actual grade a child is in; for example, a child in the fifth grade who scored a 5th grade equivalency would be average. |
